Currently under construction, Boucher Naturals, a street-level retail store is set to open its doors in the New Year. The 1,400 square foot retail space will feature a fully-stocked natural dispensary and campus bookstore with a wide selection of healthy snacks, juices and a comprehensive selection of natural health products for the general public to purchase. Its dispensary will serve the Boucher Naturopathic Teaching Clinic located on the third floor of the campus building, while the retail space will also offer educational services, such as lectures and seminars to the public.

The school is also working on the development of a 1,000 square foot teaching botanical garden along with the City of New Westminster construction of the Pier Park (currently under construction) at the waterfront east of the Fraser River Discovery Centre. The garden will feature botanical and medicinal herbs that focus on digestion issues, stress, and sleeping disorders. The garden is scheduled to be opened in spring of 2012.

Last but not least, the second cohort of the six-year extended ND program is now open for competition. The six-year program is a perfect fit for perspective students that have work or family obligations, someone looking for a slower pace of study or who wants more extracurricular time. Classes are offered in the evenings and weekends. Also, starting this year, application process is going through the Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine Centralized Application Service (NDCAS). NDCAS centralizes all ND applications by using a single web-based application and one set of materials to apply to BINM, CCNM, SCNM and UBCNM.
